copy
   For copyright purposes, the physical form in which an expression or statement is reproduced and retained over time. Copies include photocopies, computer disks and tape recordings. The exclusive right to make copies of an original work of authorship is one of the chief rights protected by a copyright. See fixed in a tangible medium of expression.
